Friends, We Shine Our Light
HOLY MANNA 8.7.8.7 D ("Christians, We Have Met to Worship")

Friends, we shine our light to others so we may be Christ to all. 
Showing grace to one another, we accomplish Jesus’ call.
May we be a loving beacon, luminous to every crowd. 
May we be bold and courageous, bravely shout Christ’s love aloud.

All are welcome at this table, welcomed with an open heart.
All who look, who seek, are able to join in, to be a part.
All affirmed, not tolerated. Celebrated, not cast out. 
All means all when Christ is present, all are loved without a doubt.

God has called us all to kindness, called to build community. 
Called to seek out peace and justice, called to join in unity.
May we help those in the margins, those oppressed, set up to fail. 
May God bless all of our efforts, regardless what may assail.

All these things we do for others, Jesus says they’re for him too. 
Serving God and serving Neighbor, just as Christ commands us to. 
This he called the great commandment, this he set above the rest. 
Help us on this sacred mission, help us God, to do our best.
