God’s Work, Our Hands
God’s Work, Our Hands
SHOWALTER 10.9.10.9 Refrain (“Leaning on the Everlasting Arms”)
In this life of faith, in our day-to-day,
we are called to build community
with forgotten ones. With the least of these,
we are called to nurture unity.
Refrain:
God’s work, our hands;
May we seek justice as Christ would.
God’s work, our hands;
always working towards the common good.
As Christ’s hands and feet, we’ve been called to serve
God’s beloved children where they are.
May we justly act, and in mercy, love.
Helping all our neighbors near and far. [Refrain]
God, give us the strength. Grant us wisdom, too.
May we seek to know what you require.
Help us humbly walk, help us seek the truth,
living to encourage and inspire. [Refrain]
